Every smile starts with an initial consultation!

Your complimentary initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:

Review your dental and medical history information
Perform a complete oral exam, with X-rays at no additional charge to determine whether treatment is necessary
Help you create a customized treatment plan
Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans

After the consultation, you’re one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! At Pickard Orthodontics, we understand how busy life can be, so why miss school or work twice instead of once? Our schedule is structured for the consultation and start of treatment to happen on the same day for your convenience. We are so excited for you to get started and will work hard to make treatment possible right away!

Scheduling Appointments

Visiting the orthodontist about every four to ten weeks is an essential part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, we recommend scheduling as far in advance as possible in order to make sure we have appointment dates and time availability that works best for you.

We understand that “life happens!" If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please contact our office and let us know as soon as you can so that we can do everything possible to accommodate you.

Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment

Regular dental cleanings are very important during orthodontic treatment!

It is vital that you continue to see your family dentist at least every six months for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups, or more frequently as recommended by your dentist.

We will coordinate with your family dentist to make sure you receive the best possible care.
